Cartaventura: Vinland

Cartaventura is a pocket-sized collection of historical adventures in the style of a “book in which you are the hero”. With the help of cards offering different options, travel, explore and make the right encounters to provide the best possible ending for the hero you play. Each scenario takes place in a different time and place in history.

Vinland scenario: Scandinavia. Year 998. You are Leif Erikson, son of the illustrious Viking Erik the Red. You’re on your way to the Althing, the great assembly of the clans. You must prove the innocence of your father, banished from Iceland for a murder you know he didn’t commit. Once this mission is accomplished, perhaps he’ll let you set sail for the western lands whose distant shores he once glimpsed. May Thor’s strength or Loki’s cunning guide you on your journey, and may your saga resound with glory through the ages.
